About Unfavinator

Want to erase all the pesky things that you marked as favorites on Twitter but don't want to have to open each and every tweet to do it? So did we.

Meet Unfavinator: the fastest way to delete all (or some) of your favorite formerly favorite tweets.

How It Works

  • Login using the "Login with Twitter" Button
  • You will see a list of your Favorites
  • Click the Minus button to the right and the Favorite disappears

Sound too good to be true? It's not. But if you like to read more words on the internet, check out our Terms of Service below.

Known Bugs

  1. To keep Twitter from freaking out about Rate Limits we cache the favorite list. If you delete a bunch of Favorites, then refresh the page they may appear to come back. The refresh button at the top right of the list will reset this cache.
  2. Twitter has a bug in their API where old Favorites are not visible. This bug is both visible on Unfavinator and on the Twitter.com main site. It is not something we have control over since it is a Twitter bug, but we're keeping an eye on their updates to see if it gets fixed.

Who Built This?

Unfavinator was built by the team at Launch Media Network to do one thing: Help you unfavorite large numbers of favorites on Twitter. Why? Because no tool existed to do it.

Terms of Service

Unfavinator is a free tool we made because it's awesome. We wanted to delete a bunch of our favorite tweets fast. We made something for ourselves, then thought - 'hey, I bet other people wish they had this too.' That said, Unfavinator was crafted in a single bout of caffeine-induced genius, and we accept no responsibility whatsoever for any outcome that results from the use of Unfavinator, including but not limited to:

  • Development of a British accent
  • Inability to save files in PNG format on this, or any other, computer
  • Pregnancy
  • Intense desire to hang glide
  • Your computer punching you in the face and setting the living room carpet on fire as it leaves the house
  • Removal of all or some favorite tweets (i.e. UF working as intended)

If you notice these, or any other, strange symptoms, please contact us immediately via the Feedback button on the left so we can laugh at your misfortune.
